2020 Update #59

Vermont Rail Holiday Lights Train to Visit Middlebury Tuesday Evening

In keeping with Governor Phil Scott’s “Vermont Lights the Way” initiative to brighten our communities during the holiday season, Vermont Rail System’s Green Mountain engine and business car have been touring the state bedecked with holiday lights.

Debuting earlier this month in Bellows Falls, the Holiday Lights train has since journeyed through Chester and Ludlow to Rutland. On Tuesday, December 15, the train will leave Rutland at about 4:30 PM and arrive in Middlebury between 5:45 and 6:15. The train will sit on the Elm Street Overpass (next to County Tire) until later Tuesday evening.

It’s going to be cold Tuesday night but worth bundling up for this bit of holiday cheer. For a preview of what you'll see, click here.

That’s all for today. See you downtown.
